We have recently increased our membership to around 140 members in the Northern Ireland Mx-5 owners club, with the majority concentrated in Counties, Antrim, Down and the greater Belfast area. Over the Winter (October – April) we meet on the second Wednesday evening of each month at the NI Civil Service Social Club (Maynard Sinclair Pavilion) on the Newtownards Road near Dundonald for our monthly planning and social meetings (this is under review so please keep checking the events Calendar to find the correct date of the meetings). During the Spring and Summer months we meet up at least twice a Month – once on a Saturday and normally once on the 2nd Wednesday evening – for runs and events. We have a “core” of around 30 active members that form the backbone of the Club. The main focus of our Club is to try and get all of the members involved by allowing everyone their say and encouraging all to take an active part in organising the runs or events. Our aim is to try and and increase the number of “active” club members especially across the other 4 Counties that are presentely under represented by holding some of our events in these areas.
Note: The “Northern Ireland Mx-5 Owners Club” is primarily for owners and members of the UK Mx-5 owners Club living in the Northern Ireland Area. It is also open to all our friends living in the Republic of Ireland who would wish to take up membership.
Non Club members are always welcome to come along and experience at first hand, a couple of our runs/events. Hopefully it will be an enjoyable experience and you will want to become a club member and enjoy the full benefits of being part of this unique club.
